In Guatemala many rural cities have limited or no health services. In Santa Catarina Mita, Rotarians have collaborated with the Municipality and the non-profit Fraternidad Catarineca to establish a Medical Center, where out-of-town doctors provide services in general-medicine, gynecology, optometry, and pediatric, dental, and ears/nose/throat (ENT) care.
San Clemente Rotary has a long tradition of investing in our youth. We do so in several ways: Interact Club, The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA), Annual Vocal Competition and Scholarships.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards is a leadership program coordinated by Rotary Clubs around the globe. RYLA encourages servant leadership in youth by recognizing and rewarding students who are chosen to attend RYLA as an “award” for their past and present leadership and service activities.
